Grill healthy vegetables instead of sausage

There are also salads and baguettes. But above all, if you want to pay attention to your slim line, you should switch to delicious vegetable varieties. Sweet and spicy marinated peppers, mushrooms, zucchini and aubergines can be easily prepared. In addition, this healthy grill meat alternative is very tasty and only has a short cooking time on the grill. Vegetable skewers also look appealing. For example, red, green and yellow peppers, onions and cherry tomatoes can be used.
For those who want to do without a purely vegetarian vegetable variety when grilling, Andreas Huberti from the German Barbecue Association in Eitorf has some tasty tips. He advises the news agency "dpa" to hollow out tomatoes, peppers and mushrooms and fill them with minced meat and cheese or with herbs and then grill them.
Potatoes are also among the grill classics among vegetables. They can either be cooked as a foil potato in the embers or sliced on the grill rack.
The German Nutrition Society (DGE) in Bonn recently pointed out that not only vegetables but also fruit can be grilled. Bananas, mangoes and pineapples are suitable for this. After grilling, the fruit can be enjoyed with chocolate sauce, for example. But sweet and spicy combinations are also very tasty. Pineapple slices can be turned over in a pepper and sugar mixture and then grilled. The combination of fruit and ginger is also promising. There are no limits to the creativity of the grill masters.
